Laurentiu gained his professional experience in the Romanian Government, the Ministry of European Integration and the European Commission.
He served as Senior Advisor for Economic Affairs for the Chief Negotiator of Romania with the EU and then as Coordinator for Economic Policy in the European Commission.
Since 2009, Laurentiu joined the Romanian Government as Senior Advisor for European Affairs Minister in Romania on economic and financial issues. Currently holds the position of Managing Partner of EU Advisors.
He graduated from the Faculty of Economics of the Academy of Economic Studies and the Faculty of Political Science at the National School with Political and Administrative Studies. Was awarded a scholarship by the College of Europe, and master’s degree in International Relations and Diplomacy at the Diplomatic Academy in Bucharest. Also, he holds a Master degree issued by the Academy of Economic Studies and a master’s degree awarded by the Kennedy School of Government Harvard University.
