{"id":2877,"date":"2021-03-16T21:33:46","date_gmt":"2021-03-16T19:33:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/euadvisors.eu\/?page_id=2877"},"modified":"2021-03-16T21:33:48","modified_gmt":"2021-03-16T19:33:48","slug":"eea-and-norwegian-grants","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/euadvisors.eu\/en\/eea-and-norwegian-grants\/","title":{"rendered":"EEA and Norwegian grants"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The EEA and Norwegian grants represent the contribution of Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway to reducing economic and social disparities and to strengthening bilateral relations with 15 countries in Central and Southern Europe and the Baltic countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For the period 2014-2021, an amount of EUR 2.8 billion has been allocated. EEA grants of EUR 1.5 billion are jointly funded by all three donors and are available in all 15 countries. Norwegian grants of EUR 1.3 billion are funded exclusively by Norway and are available in the 13 countries that joined the EU after 2003.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For the period 2014-2021 Romania benefits from an allocation of 275.2 million Euros through EEA grants and 227.3 million Euros through Norwegian grants.
